IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT CONCERNING THE ARRIVAL IN CYPRUS OF THIRD COUNTRY NATIONALS WHO ARE HOLDERS OF AN IMMIGRATION PERMIT DUE TO THE RESTRICTIVE TRAVELLING MEASURES ADOPTED FOR THE PREVENTION OF THE OUTBREAK OF CORONAVIRUS - 04/03/2021 09:39:01 am


Following the announcement by our Department dated 20 July 2020 regarding the above mentioned subject, it has been decided that holders of Immigration Permits who were due to arrive in Cyprus after the 21/03/2020 as their obligation in accordance to the provisions of Regulation 6(3) and Regulation 6(6) of the Aliens and Immigration Regulations may extend their arrival due date until 30/06/2021 without being deprived of their right of permanent residence.

Those individuals affected should submit a request to the Civil Registry and Migration Department prior to their arrival, in order to be issued with a written permission which will facilitate their entry to the Republic.

It is noted that any other entry requirements, including medical certificates, that the Republic of Cyprus may impose in connection with the control of the spread of the pandemic must be met.
