The Civil Registry and Migration Department informs the public that the efforts to complete relocation to its new premises located at Arch. Makariou Avenue, 90 in Nicosia, have not been completed and the Department will remain closed until 16/2/2021.

Public Service will resume at the new premises on 17/02/2021. In case reopening is possible at an earlier stage, a relevant announcement will be issued.

For the above period the public can continue to communicate with the Department either by phone or electronically.

For the above period, application submission for passports and identity cards will continue to the rest of the locations (District Administrations, Citizens Service Centres, Citizens Centres) and the issuing of these documents will normally.

It is stressed that during this period no fast track passport applications can be submitted. For urgent cases the public can call the above numbers.

Residents of other Districts can continue to apply for residence permits at the District Units of the Aliens and Migration Service of the Police.
