For the Civil Registry Section:
The ID number of the Cypriot citizen, or the file number of the case you are interested in, or the alien registration number (ARC), as appropriate.

These data are presented in the identity card, on the receipt given for paying fees for a residence permit and the residence permit itself.

For the Migration Section:
The file number of the case you are interested in, or the alien registration number (ARC).

These data are presented on the application form reception document, the receipt given for paying the fees for an application (Γ.Λ.301) and on the residence permit / entry itself.

Listed below are indicative times and information relating to on-site service at the central offices of the Department. The following are based on a study that took place in the CRMD during the period 9-13 May 2016 in which 151 persons participated. It is emphasised that the following are provided for information purposes and may differ in reality, depending on the complexity of the case and the number of persons waiting service at any given time.
  • Most persons visited the Department between the hours 10:00 and 12:00.
  • The average waiting time from arrival until the beginning of the first service in a window / office is approximately 10 minutes, per visit.
  • The average total time spent in the service points, from the time of arrival until the time of departure is approximately 30 minutes, per visit. For approximately 85% of the cases, the time does not exceed 40 minutes, per visit.

Citizen service is done at windows/ offices at the counters of the Department, based on the subject:
