 | The main objective of the Keryneia District Land Office (DLO) is to serve individuals and corporate bodies when dealing with property related matters. In particular the DLO accepts and completes most of the kinds of applications, concerning property transfers, mortgages, registration, etc. The Keryneia District has been occupied by Turkish troops since 1974 and for that reason applications need local inquiry are not dispatched. Furthermore, the Keryneia DLO, provides any information that is in the sphere of its responsibility and dispatches all the valuations of properties, located in the occupied area, for the purposes of the Central Agency for Equal Distribution of Burdens.
