In the framework of Council Decisions (EU) 2015/1523 of the 14th of September 2015 and 2015/1601 of the 22nd of September 2015 establishing provisional measures in the area of international protection for the benefit of Italy and Greece, the Republic of Cyprus is committed to receive 69 persons, in need of international protection, from third countries other than their country of origin.
