In 2015, through the European co-financed program, the aerial observation unit was created. The unit consists of two hexacopters and three quadcopters unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and six people (pilots, assistant pilots, technicians) who operate these UAVs. UAVs have day cameras and thermal cameras. The main purpose of the UAVs is to find missing persons but also to review and patrol in disaster areas.
