Due to the restrictive travelling measures adopted by P. R. of China for the prevention of the outbreak of coronavirus, it has been decided that the Chinese nationals who are holders of an Immigration Permit in the Republic and who were due to arrive in Cyprus before the 27/01/2020 as their obligation in accordance to the provisions of Regulation 6(3) and Regulation 6(6) of the Aliens and Immigration Regulations may extend their arrival due date until 30/04/2020 without being deprived of their right of permanent residence.

Those individuals affected should submit a request to the Civil Registry and Migration Department prior to their arrival, in order to be issued with a written permission which will facilitate their entry to the Republic.
