Kykko monastery, founded around 1100 A.D.   Kykko monastery, founded around 1100 A.D.   Church of Panayia Angeloktistos in Kiti village- The most famous 6th century Byzantine mosaic in Cyprus occupies the central apse of the church. The life-size design shows the Blessed Virgin Mary holding the infant Jesus in between the Archangels Michael and Gabriel.
