The National Programme for the Internal Security Fund (ISF) has been approved based on the decision C (2015) 5332 on the 31st of July 2015.
The National Programme of Internal Security Fund is divided into two main parts:
1. Internal Security Fund - Borders and Visas (based on the Regulation (EU) No 515/2014)
2. Internal Security Fund - Police Cooperation (based on the Regulation (EU) No 513/2014)
The projects of the
Internal Security Fund – Borders and Visas mainly aim to support the common visa policy, facilitate legitimate travel and tackle illegal immigration while ensuring safety in the Schengen area and a high level of control and protection of external borders together with the facilitation of smoother border crossings.
