European Funds Unit - Internal Security Fund


The National Programme for the Internal Security Fund (ISF) has been approved based on the decision C (2015) 5332 on the 31st of July, 2015. It is divided into two main parts:

    1. Internal Security Fund - Borders and Visas (based on the Regulation (EU) No 515/2014).
    2. Internal Security Fund - Police Cooperation (based on the Regulation (EU) No 513/2014).

The projects for Internal Security Fund - Police Cooperation mainly aim to enhance coordination and cooperation between law enforcement authorities, promote the exchange of information, develop training schemes, improve technological capacity and enhance the administrative and operational capacity of Cyprus to protect critical infrastructure and secure early response in crisis situations.
