Τα ενημερωτικά σημειώματα που δημιουργούνται από το ΕΔΜ, παρέχουν σημαντικά βασικά ευρήματα και μηνύματα στους διαμορφωτές πολιτικής, σχετικά με ένα συγκεκριμένο θέμα που εγείρεται, με βάση τα αποτελέσματα των πληροφοριών που συλλέγονται και αναλύονται από το ΕΔΜ, για παράδειγμα από Μελέτες ή Ad-Hoc Queries.
